Who Am I Anyway-Tiverton

Fall 2020

Grades 6-8

This exceptional SEL/Integrated Arts program, graciously funded by the Tiverton Prevention Coalition, runs eight weeks (although we are hopeful that we may be able to extend into 2021 for few additional weeks -TBD) and examines the social, emotional and creative BIG THEME issues adolescents and teens are facing.  This program tackles real issues:  peer pressure, bullying, social media, gender identity, and self-awareness and self-expression with different modules throughout the eight weeks of classes.

Classes are led by Gloria Crist with a team of staff leaders who will engage students in art; theater and performing; group discussion; yoga and mindfulness; written word and music.

This program concludes on December 22nd (skipping Thanksgiving week). Registration means students commit to the FULL PROGRAM and adhere to the guidelines established. Enrollment is limited.

Format:  Zoom – Interactive Class – Meets Tuesdays (5:00 PM – 6:30 PM)

Note: A Zoom link will be emailed to parent’s email addresses each week the day before class starts.  However, links will only be operational when class begins at 5:00 PM.
