Winter/Spring 2021

January 13, 2021

Dear CORE Families,

On Wednesday January 6th, we were made aware of a statewide virtual after- school arts program initiative of the RI Department of Education, in collaboration with The Empowerment Factory based in Pawtucket. Tiverton Schools disseminated information regarding this program to Tiverton families, as requested by the RI Department of Education. CORE has received inquiries about registering for this program. However, it is important for you to know that CORE.org is in no way connected to this initiative, the Empowerment Factory, or their staff. As such, we cannot provide information about this initiative, nor do we endorse the Empowerment Factory or anyone affiliated with their organization.

CORE continues to work hard to provide high quality programs for students in the Newport County area and are honored to have a staff of dedicated, professional and well respected teaching artists and arts educators. We take pride in partnering with vetted organizations and individuals who share our passion for student-first, heart-centered, engaging arts enrichment programs. We will continue to provide our signature programs as we always have, with the right intention, professionalism, and integrity you all have come to know, firmly planted in remaining active and viable as your trusted arts source. We are not going anywhere!  We will soon be announcing our winter/spring programs, virtually for now, as well as some special programs for parents, as we all continue to move through life:  thinking, feeling, and creating. Thank you for your continued support.

Regards,

Gloria Crist

President/Founder, The Core Organization
